Basic Course

This course is held each month; this is a six day course taking place on four Saturdays and two Sundays. The Saturday classes are held indoors from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The live fire exercise takes place every other Sunday starting immediately after day one. Sunday live Fire Training starts at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 14 training hours total.

The Basic course outline is as follows:

Day One (Saturday)

Introduction - Basic Safety Rules - Hands on safety Training -
Loading and Unloading - Press Check - Sight Alignment - Sight Picture-Trigger Control - The Low ready - The Presentation - Dry firing Drills

Live Fire Basic Drills

Day Three (Saturday)

Review Safety Rules - Review Hands on Safety Training -
Discuss Previous Live Fire Event - Discuss Live Fire Difficulties -
Review Presentation - Introduce Magazine Change

Day Four (Saturday)

Review Presentation - Review Magazine Change - Introduce Malfunction #1

Day Five (Sunday)

Live Fire Basic Drills - Recharging Drills - Immediate Action Drills

Day Six (Saturday)

Discuss Live Fire Drills - Discuss Live Fire Difficulties - Review All Basic
Drills - Hand Out Completion Certificates

The Total cost of the course is $249.00

The Live Fire Exercise require you to bring your own ammunition and safety gear. The indoor training days require you to bring your own pistol, holster and equipment which you plan to use in the time of need. (If you are not yet equipped we can provide loaner equipment).
